Anything is Possible...all you have to do is SWEAT BLEED AND SOMETIMES EVEN CRY

(left picture was sitting at 335lbs picture on the right sitting at 220lbs)

I just want to say, that if you set your mind to an idea, it can be DONE. You have to feel it in your bones. You have to want it so bad, that you will do anything to get there. Body building has become my passion through my journey of health. Everyone starts their journey's for different reasons. Mine was after a tragic event. The lose of my best friend who committed suicide and a really horrible break up from a person that I was madly in love with. But you know what they say, "breakups make body builders."

You see if you run into my page, I just want to say, if you are one of those people who made a resolution to themselves that they want to be healthier. Good for you. But here is the thing. I want you to think about it for a second. Are you deciding this because it is the "in thing" to do during this time of the year. Since it is a "new year" and all. Or are you really wanting to make a change? Because making a big life change is not easy. It is far from it. But it can be done. I started my journey August 29th, 2013. If you are serious about it, power to you. Be prepared though, it is a long road. But it is a road worth taking. I am still on my road. But every second will be worth it.

You will cry some days, sometimes because it is stressful. The stress can be overwhelging because sometimes it will be weeks, sometimes months when you don't see results. Other days because you cannot believe how far you have come. Sometimes you will bleed, because those calluses will pop well you are doing deadlifts. Or you will drop a weight on yourself. Or well you are boxing, all those feelings you are channeling will be felt at the tips of your knuckles as they begin to peel and blood comes out. But that is when you have the choice to give up or keep going. Some days the weights will defeat you but you can't let them defeat your spirit. Some days you will be so full of sweat that it will look like you have just taken a shower. Take that sweat as pride. Because you are earning this, you are doing this yourself. Be proud. Be proud of yourself. Be proud for starting or if you are still sticking to it. Keep going. Keep it BEAST.

When People Stare

When I first started to go at the gym, I was extremely self conscious about my body.  First off because I was over 350lbs but because some people just look at you funny when you are attempting to do exercises on the machines, when you are that heavy. Thank goodness that at my gym there was a more private room where you could train in, where there wasn't as many "starers." But the one thing that I learned very fast is that you should not worry about those staring at you. Why? Because you are at the gym becoming a better version of yourself. You are there making a change. So why let those stares bother you? Those stares will turn into envy when you start to see results! But what you will also find at the gym is a lot of people who are also there to motivate you! I have created many friendships at the gym. People like people who have dedication, and will not stop until they get what they want, and when they get what they want they still keep going. Some stares are people cheering you on. A smile that some stranger gives you can help you through a fast paced workout. People who you don't know complementing you on your progress. Let me tell you what! That is an amazing feeling! So don't let those haters get you down! The only person you have to prove what you got is yourself. So let them stare, well you do your thing! BEAST MODE!

Making the Choice

It is a very hard thing to decide to lose weight. Why? Well first off it is really scary! Because even though you may not know it, but you are not going to be the same person anymore. For some people that is a really hard concept to accept. Change is hard. And sticking to the change is even harder. But once you make the choice, you will not regret! Trust me! I know I haven't!

When you are working out, we are at our most vulnerable stage. But through that vulnerability we find our strength and that strength creates a BEAST.

A person that we did not know we could be.
So don't give up. Because we are all BEAST! No matter where we are in our goals! Because you took initiative to make the change!

BEAST LIFE!

Doing the cliche thing and posting a picture!

This is my progress picture! So that way you don't think I am lying to you or anything. The picture on the left I was 330lbs, the picture on the right I am 270lbs. That is a total of 60lbs that I have lost in the past 9 months. So far it has not been easy one bit! There are so many things that come with loosing weight. But you just have to keep pushing!!!!
